HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority will mark the completion of a major solar project next week in Hyannis.
The new solar array constructed by the RTA was part of a larger $1.6 million renovation to their transit hub.
The bus bays and parking areas were reconfigured for more efficient movement.
The transit authority said the solar project is expected to reduce the agency’s overall carbon footprint energy demand by 93 percent.
A ribbon cutting will take place on Wednesday, September 18th at 10:30 a.m.
