COTUIT – Ruby Rose Fox, a singer who’s been described as a “vocal powerhouse of soul-driven, edgy indie-pop, whose voice threatens to knock down the walls of any room,” is coming to the Cotuit Center for the Arts.
Her stage presence has been described as “a chanteuse Cleopatra”.
Her debut album won Album of the Year at the New England Music Awards and made it all the way to #8 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart. She has won many other awards, including Best Female Vocalist 2 years in a row at the Boston Music Awards.
Fox established the Gifted Voice Program which provides young people, who cannot afford them, with voice and songwriting lessons.
Her second album, featuring nine original songs, will be released later this year.
She’ll be joined by her band which includes guitar, saxophone, violin, drums and bass. Fox also plays guitar and piano.
The show will take place on Thursday, March 15th at 7:30 PM.
