SANDWICH – The town of Sandwich has reopened the Sandwich Boardwalk and the Town Neck shellfish beds today.
The beds were closed for two months after Winter Storm Juno struck the Cape at the end of January. State officials gave the okay for the shellfish beds to reopen.
In other news in town, officials in Sandwich are also planning on closing sections of the Sandwich Library parking lot for repairs.
The construction on the lot is expected to begin soon.
