KA_Sandwich_Town Hall87_111715SANDWICH – The Sandwich Town Hall will be rocking with music, sketches, and uproarious laughs at the fourth “Sandwich Town Hall Radio Musical” on October 29.

The event takes place at 7 p.m. and tickets are $15 per person, benefitting the maintenance of the Town Hall Glasstown Stage, and will be available at the door.

The one night only extravaganza is in the form of an old time radio show reminiscent of the 1940’s complete with creative commercials, beautiful singers and talented kids.

Sandwich Selectman, Patrick Ellis, will serve as Master of Ceremonies and Dave Read from Ocean 104.7 will be featured as the show’s illustrious announcer.

Director Jim Ellis has added new performers to the show including the Town Neck Boys Rock Band.

Sandwich Community Television will be providing tech assistance for the show.

The Mission of the Sandwich Town Hall Preservation Trust is to support the continued stewardship of the historic Sandwich Town Hall.

Built in 1834 the historic Town Hall hosts community events, meetings, movies, shows, talks and tours and was restored to its former glory in 2009.

The Sandwich Town Hall was granted a Preservation Award for Rehabilitation and Restoration by the Massachusetts Historical Commission in 2011.

The Town Hall has been in active use as the seat of town government for over 175 years.
