The following updates have been released by The Steamship Authority and Hy-Line Cruises in the wake of the weather caused by Hurricane Dorian; for previous updates, please visit this previous story on CapeCod.com.
-All Martha’s Vineyard Iyanough trips from The Steamship Authority have been cancelled today.
-Additional Steamship Authority cancellations on the Nantucket and Vineyard routes are likely this morning, but decisions will be made on a trip-by-trip basis.
–8 A.M. UPDATE: The Oak Bluffs Terminal is closed for the day. All trips will be diverted to Vineyard Haven when service resumes on the Vineyard route.
-Nantucket route trips are on hold throughout the weekend. Those with reservations today from 5:30 a.m. to 1:35 p.m. can keep their booking, or re-book for another day. No new reservations will be accepted. Cancellation fees are waived.
-All inter-island service between the Vineyard and Nantucket for Hy-Line Cruises have been cancelled today.
-The Hy-Line Hyannis-to-Vineyard trips at 8 and 9 a.m., and the Vineyard-to-Hyannis trip at 10:20 a.m. have also been cancelled.
-There will be no Hy-Line trips from Hyannis to Nantucket at 6:10 and 8:30 this morning, as well as from Nantucket to Hyannis at 7:40 and 9:55 a.m.
–10:15 A.M. UPDATE: Hy-Line trips to Hyannis at 11:10, 12:50, 2:15, and 3:35 have been cancelled. Hy-Line also cancelled the 11:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. runs to Nantucket and the 11:40 run to the Vineyard.
