A sign warning beachgoers about shark activity in the area
TRURO – Officials in Truro closed Longnook Beach to swimming this afternoon due to the presence of great white sharks.
A Massachusetts State Police Air Wing crew spotted several sharks close to shore and beachgoers and reported the sightings to the Division of Marine Fisheries.
A video taken by the State Police helicopter crew can be watched below.
