BUZZARDS BAY -The Massachusetts Maritime Academy’s Training ship, T.S. Kennedy, is back home after a brief delay.

The ship returned after the annual voyage for Sea Term, docking Tuesday at the Academy in Buzzards Bay.

Sea Term is the annual multi-week voyage where cadets run all ship board operations under the supervision of Academy instructors.

The ship was initially scheduled to return on Sunday but sat at anchor in Cape Cod Bay because of high winds and seas in the area.

The Kennedy departed Cape Cod on January 12th and ports of call this year included Puerto Rico, the British Virgin Islands, Barbados and Miami.
