FALL RIVER, Mass. (AP) — Prosecutors and attorneys for convicted former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez plan today to question an anonymous tipster who’s raised questions about the integrity of one of the jurors at Hernandez’s murder trial.
A defense attorney says the tipster called him in June, after Hernandez was convicted of killing a man in 2013, and said she worked with the juror who knew that Hernandez also was charged with a double murder in Boston.
Prosecutors question the tipster’s credibility because she has written sexually explicit letters to Hernandez in jail.
