TISBURY -Tisbury was the latest town on Martha’s Vineyard to reject a proposed Housing Bank as a three night town meeting came to a close last night.
Oak Bluffs and Edgartown also rejected the housing bank, West Tisbury voted in favor of the plan at town meeting this week.
According to the Vineyard Gazette, voters also approved two funding requests for schools, approving a $400,000 article for design work for a renovation at the Tisbury School and approved paying the town’s share of a $1.4 million dollar feasibility study looking at improvements to the high school.
