MARSTONS MILLS – Spring is here the herring are returning to their traditional locations on Cape Cod.
The Barnstable Clean Water Coalition reports that river herring have been spotted in the Marstons Mills River this week.
They said that despite the count only beginning Monday, their volunteers counted over 40 fish.
The Herring Run in Brewster is another popular location each year to view the fish making their way upstream.
