HYANNIS – Over 150 people are expected in Hyannis tomorrow to raise awareness and funds that support people living with multiple sclerosis.
Walk MS: Hyannis will take place at West Elementary School at 10 a.m. and participants will walk along a six mile route in an attempt to raise money that support cutting-edge research and life-changing programs and services.
This year, Walk MS locations throughout New England are expected to raise around $2.5 million for the Greater New England Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Most people with MS are diagnosed between the ages of 20 and 50 and it affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide.
