Wellfleet Bay Hosting ‘Haunted Forest’ Walks for Halloween

WELLFLEET – Everyone has been to a haunted house in anticipation of Halloween, but what about a haunted forest?

The Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary invites area residents to explore its Haunted Pine Forest this month to celebrate Halloween this year.

As you stroll along an illuminated trail, curious characters from the natural world will entertain and enlighten you along the way.

The sanctuary encourages participants to wear their costumes on the trail and will continue the fun in the Halloween-themed game room, open from 5:15 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where kids can win prizes and get their faces painted.

Admission is $12 for adults and $8 for children who aren’t members of the sanctuary. Adult members get a $10 admission while child members get a $6 admission.

The Haunted Forest is recommended for children ages 3 to 12. Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
