EASTHAM — Wild Care is currently looking for artwork of all varieties from the community to put on sale for their Art Scramble at the Eastham Library. Artwork from anyone interested is due at the library by October 25.
100% of the proceeds from the Art Scramble go towards funding Wild Care, and will feature around 250 artists creating nature-inspired works which will be on display throughout the month of November.
A reception for the event will be held on November 30 at the Chapel in the Pines from 4 to 5:30 pm.
The artwork will go on sale exactly at 5:30 once the reception is over.
Wild Care is also holding its annual Wild Winter Night next year, and is currently collecting items for auction from local businesses.
Last event earlier this year, Wild Winter Night had 200 guests and was sponsored by over 20 local businesses, with Wild Care raised over $30,000.
The Wild Winter Night is scheduled for February 8, 2020.
