Yarmouth Corrects Drinking Water Issues

YARMOUTH – Water issues in Yarmouth have been corrected, according to officials.

A reading of E. coli was detected in a sample of untreated water from Well Number Seven earlier in July. No other E. coli samples were found across the town.

After taking Well Number Seven out of service temporarily and following up with further testing, town officials determined that there were no other positive E. coli samples. The well has since been reactivated.
