Yarmouth Joining MVP Program

YARMOUTH – The Town of Yarmouth is holding a listening session next week where the discussion will focus on the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness Program, a statewide program designed to encourage planning contingencies in the face of climate change.

The town is looking for input on the draft MVPP report.

In preparation for the designation, town staff attended a workshop in late March that focused on identifying potential strengths and weaknesses, developing prorates, identifying hazards of concern and identify opportunities for collaboration to increase resilience.  Group has prepared a Draft MVP Report summarizing the Workshop results which can be viewed on the town website.

The listening session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30th at 6pm at Town Hall.
