Christmas Wishes 2020 – Family 147

We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Now we’re asking you and your family (friends, colleagues, etc) to considering sponsoring this family.

If you would like to sponsor this family, please read the description below and fill out the form.

Like most families this year has been tough. With the isolation of Covid and with older siblings out of the family home this teen and her mother felt the impact of missing out on socialization with friends, family and group activities. This teen loves playing sports and in recreation, but Covid has taken most of that away. The single mom is trying to come up with healthy alternatives to social media, the internet and trying to fill her daughters time with fun things to do. As this is a self employed family counting on the tourism industry to make ends meet, mom just doesn't have what she normally would. The client is struggling with anxiety, depression, school issues and adapting to the "new normal". Child #1 age 14 female, wears a size 2 woman's pant and a woman's xsmall top. she likes TJMaxx, Marshalls, Hollister and Pac Sun clothing stores. She likes skateboarding, and would like an LED soccer ball, art supplies or a gift card for a manicure. Mom would appreciate any gift card to TJMaxx, Marshalls, Stop & Shop or Whole Foods.
