We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. This hard working intact family has been hit with a particularly difficult year. Losses of family members, housing and health issues have put a strain on their finances. Due to an accident, mom was unable to work until recently and as they get back on their feet, need some assistance. Child #1: 15 year old boy needs mens size medium boxer briefs, men's medium t-shirts and sweatshirts, men's medium sweat pants or athletic pants. He wishes for computer headphones, army gear, and a gift card to TJ Maxx. Child # 2: 13 year old male needs size boys XL boxer briefs, XL t-shirts and/or sweatshirts (Anime Demon Slayer, Bleach, Naruto and Scooby Doo if you can find those for shirts and sweatshirts) Boys size 14 pants. He really needs men's size 10 slippers and winter boots. He wishes for: A Barnes and Noble gift card, headphones, Anime merchandise (likes the same as brother) or blankets and Scooby Doo toys or blankets. Child #3: 10 year old male needs size 10 boxer briefs, size 3 shoes, slippers and or snow boots, sweatshirts and t-shirts, pants, all size 8-10. He wishes for: Police memorabilia particularly K-9 related, headphones, history and military books, a blanket with Anime theme (Naruto or Bleach) and/or stuffed dogs. Child #4: 7 year old female, needs shirts, size 8-10, pants size 8-10 with adjustable waist, sweatshirts size 10, nightgowns size 10, shoes size 2 youth and snow boots. She wishes for Barbie toys, My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, Scooby Doo. She loves art and cats. Mom and dad say they don't need anything but the kids say Mom could use good gloves and size 9 slippers. Dad would love a gift card to take mom out for dinner or an Amazon gift card.
