Christmas Wishes 2023 – Family 037

We all know that Christmas is the time of giving… But all too often, we overlook giving to the people who need our help the most. This holiday season, Cape Cod Broadcasting Media, Child and Family Services and Mid-Cape Home Centers have reached out to the Cape Cod community to make sure the families in our own neighborhoods do not go without this Christmas. Now we’re asking you and your family (friends, colleagues, etc) to considering sponsoring this family.

If you would like to sponsor this family, please read the description below and fill out the form.

A 15 yr old girl who is in the physical custody of her grandparents along with her younger brother recently relocated to the Cape. The grandparents are striving to provide a stable and safe home for the children following sexual abuse experienced when they were very young. The grandfather recently lost his job and multiple members of the family are undergoing physical health concerns. There is also an Aunt living in the home. Any extra support this holiday season would be greatly appreciated. Child #1: A 7 year old boy wears a size 5-6 in boys clothing and loves to dress ‘preppy’. He also loves art and would appreciate any kind of art supplies. He would also love legos, anything dinosaur related, and any kind of imaginative play toys. Child #2: A 15 year old girl wears a size medium in juniors clothing. She loves fruity perfumes, fake nails, and jewelry. She is very artistic (art and music) and loves the K-Pop genre, specifically the band ENHYPEN. She would love a Barnes and Noble gift card. A HUGE wish would be for a Nintendo Switch. Parent/guardian #1: Auntie would appreciate a grocery card for Whole Foods specifically due to a number of food allergies that require a specific diet. Parent/guardian #1: The grandparents would appreciate grocery and gas gift cards as they are struggling to manage medical costs, mortgage payments, and the general expenses of raising children.
