My Adventures in the Provincetown Carnival Parade

[Not a valid template]

I thought in my latest blog I would share with you my adventures of being in the Provincetown Parade “Carnival 2016”!

This was my second year of being in the parade with my partner in crime Ralphie Marino. It was an 80’s theme this year…which was right up my alley. I loved the 80’s…so I thought I would do kind of a Madonna themed outfit. A black skirt with lots of tooling! Add to that… wild hair with a pink headband…a pink glove a greenglove…bangle bracelets…a pink belt…a bunch of necklaces and bright pink lipstick and I was good to go!

Our float was also an 80’s theme (obviously)… thanks to Michelle from the Cotuit Center for the Arts and Cat Wilson for helping to build as fantastic float.  The float was basically a huge boom box. It took a lot of work and it was worth it because it looked fantastic!

Once all the floats were lined up…we were good to go! We made our way down Commercial Street through hundreds and hundreds of screaming fans and parade goers. What a thrill! It was so much fun! So many people cheering and so many people dressed up in 80’s costumes and outfits.

It’s a yearly event in P-town that everyone should attend…with the hundreds of people that attended there were no problems…just pure enjoyment for everyone!

I’ll see you there next year when the theme will be Gods and Goddesses!
