Brush fire breaks out near Orleans Elementary School

ORLEANS – Firefighters rushed to the scene of a brush fire near the Orleans Elementary School around 8:30 AM Tuesday morning. Mutual aid from Eastham, Brewster and Harwich responded to the scene off Eldredge Parkway. No buildings were damaged and no injuries were reported. Crews remained on scene for some time throughly wetting down the area.

A Red Flag Warning remains in effect Tuesday for extreme fire danger .
