FALMOUTH – Local police departments were warning of black ice Saturday morning. The slippery conditions may have been responsible for a serious crash in Falmouth. Officials responded to the area of 509 Thomas B. Landers Road around 8:20 AM. A vehicle went off the road into the woods and rolled on its side. One person had to be extricated from the wreckage. A MedFlight helicopter was requested but cancelled and the victim was rushed to Falmouth Hospital. The crash is under investigation by Falmouth Police.
