Fire heavily damages residential structure in Dennis

DENNIS – Fire heavily damaged a cottage type structure in Dennis Monday morning. The fire was reported at 117 Depot Street about 7:45 AM. One person was evaluated by EMTs at the scene. The State Fire Marshal’s office was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.

The State Fire Marshal’s office tells CWN the cause appears accidental, connected to a gas heater.
