HARWICH – Harwich Police are investigating an incident where a man was shot several times with a nail gun sometime before 2 p.m. According to reports, the victim was hit several times in the head and at least once in the arm. Rescuers took the man, who was reportedly conscious, to Barnstable Municipal Airport to be flown to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Harwich Police tell CWN the man was using the tool himself and that it was not an accident but foul play is also not suspected.
