BARNSTABLE – A pickup struck a utility pole early Thursday morning in Barnstable. Rescuers responded to Independence Drive and rushed the driver to Cape Cod Hospital with unknown injuries. Eversource cut power in the area for a time to repair damage on the pole. The crash is under investigation by Barnstable Police.
