Provincetown officer promoted to Sergeant

PROVINCETOWN
– Provincetown Police congratulate Sergeant Kevan M. Spoor on his well-deserved promotion prior to Monday night’s Provincetown Board of Selectmen’s Meeting.

Kevan began his career with the Provincetown Police Department in May 2007, when he was hired as a Seasonal Police Officer. In 2011, he started his journey in becoming a Provincetown Police Officer. Once out of the academy, he excelled in the field training program and was assigned as a solo Police Officer. He developed a reputation of being very proactive, detail oriented and in tune with the community.

Standing with Kevan was a large contingent of family and friends. He was then “pinned” with his new badge of office by his wife Jenn.

Sergeant Spoor has done extremely important work as a police officer and is expected to make a profound and lasting impact on our officers in his new supervisory role. He will be a welcomed addition to the supervisory staff of your police department!

Provincetown Police trust that he will work to continuously improve and move himself, his employees and their organization forward.
