EAST SANDWICH – Several injuries were reported after a crash on Route 6A at Jones Lane in East Sandwich around 4 PM Thursday afternoon. Two vehicles suffered heavy damage in the crash while stalled traffic in the area. One person was taken to a Hospital, three others were treated and released at the scene. A pet was also reportedly injured and taken to a vet.
About 8:15 PM, a vehicle rolled on its roof in the same part of Route 6A. The two occupants were able to self extricate and were evaluated. At least one was taken to Cape Cod Hospital. Both crashes are under investigation by Sandwich Police.
