State Police cite driver for improperly secured surfboard in Falmouth

FALMOUTH
– From Mass State Police: “Whether you live to surf, or surf to live…we all have a responsibility to ensure safety of those around us while traveling in our vehicles.

This surfer was stopped on Route 151 in Falmouth last week after Trooper Rob Clouse found this surf board held down by a button down shirt in the back, and another shirt being held by the driver through the moonroof on the front.

The driver was cited accordingly.”

Editor’s note: An improperly secured load like this could easily be “launched” and end up in the windshield of a vehicle behind this one potentially causing serious injury or worse.
