Yarmouth Police launch ‘Operation Ride for Hope’ program

YARMOUTH – In partnership with Town Taxi of Cape Cod and Learn to Cope, the Yarmouth Police Department has created a new program that will help family members of people addicted to opioids receive help and support.

Operation Ride for Hope will provide a free ride to and or from the weekly Learn to Cope group meetings held every Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. at police headquaters for anyone who may not have transportation.

The program is anonymous—open to anyone in the Mid-Cape area—and will be funded by private donations.

Anyone from the towns of Yarmouth, Dennis, or Barnstable who needs a ride to and or from our weekly Learn to Cope meetings can call Town Taxi of Cape Cod at 508.775.5555 between 6:30PM and 9:30PM and a ride will be provided and paid by private donations.
