YARMOUTH – From Yarmouth Police: Nero’s Bill will be heard before the Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security on Thursday July 18th, 2019 at 9 AM at the Massachusetts State House.
Nero’s Bill would allow police K9s to be treated and transported by EMS if injured in the line of duty, if there is not a competing need for human transport.
Current state law does not allow this.
Please let our voices be heard in Boston and reach out to the chairs of the committee via email and ask them to report the bill favorably out of committee.
