Feeling Like You’re In A Funk Lately? It Could Just Be Mercury Retrograde!

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, Mercury was retrograde from January 5th to the 25th, again from April 28th to May 22nd and NOW. Well, it began on August 30th and lasts until September 22nd, so we’re smack dab in the middle of it.

If you’re saying right now, ‘What the heck is Mercury retrograde, and what does it have to do with me?’ Ahh, well the good ol’ Farmer’s Almanac knew you’d want that info, so they explained it in the best way possible:

“Sometimes the other planets appear to be traveling backward through the zodiac; this is an illusion. We call this illusion retrograde motion.  Several times a year, it appears as if Mercury is going backwards. This time was traditionally associated with confusions, delay, and frustration.  Perhaps Mercury’s retrograde periods can cause our plans to go awry. However, this is an excellent time to reflect on the past. Intuition is high during these periods, and coincidences can be extraordinary.”

I was talking to a girlfriend earlier today, discussing man problems (c’mon ladies, you know you do it too, and guys reading this…you’re the cause of it! ;)…and I said to her “I’m so mad, more mad than I normally get, actually I’m so mad I could cry! I don’t know what my problem is today! I continued. She understood and said she felt the same way. Fast forward a few hours to me finding a post on Facebook talking about Mercury retrograde…a ha! A reason behind all the craziness, I’ll take it!!

Of all planetary aspects, people seem to be the most interested in Mercury retrograde, and the reason is because it affects all of us!  Once you start keeping track of Mercury retrograde periods, you’ll notice how events in your life change during these phases, either that, or it’s pure coincidence…but I don’t think so.
