Hello friends!!
Who said vacations are relaxing?? They are half right actually. It’s been a very good and busy week so far. I had a chance to go see my sons and my parents on Long Island for a few days. I am very lucky to have both my parents and treasure the time with them. If you have ever seen “Everybody Loves Raymond” that sums up a trip home.
I have been around and seen one constant all week, and that is the water. The ocean and bays in New York, and the ocean and bays here on Cape Cod. I am blessed that I have never been more then 10 miles from an ocean my entire life. It truly is beautiful. I never take it for granted and am always amazed at its power and beauty. I felt power first hand when I attempted to body surf on Long Island, much to the delight of many onlookers that noticed where I am not tan!!!
Sitting here as I write this I am watching my kids swim in the ocean, looking at the Vineyard in the distance. They love the beach as much as I do. As they say…”We’re Beach Bums”
I am looking forward to seeing my friend Karen Monday, and being back on the radio!
