Greetings!
As I type this, today is the last day of business for Benny’s. They have been around for decades here on Cape Cod, Southeastern Mass., and Rhode Island. I always loved going in there, it reminded me of stores that have gone by the wayside.
The first one is Woolworth’s, which reminds me of Benny’s.
Managers with crew cuts barking orders and specials in the store on the PA.
Bought many bikes for the kids there, and the beach stuff too. I wish the family all the best in retirement, they sure deserve it!
