Fall at Edaville Family Theme Park

Picture 1 of 7

Folks remember the famous Edaville Railroad as the place where you spent your Christmas fun, but did you know that this attraction has now evolved into a major theme park? The newly branded Edaville Family Theme Park is located minutes from the bridges of the Cape, and offers three adventurous parks for the price of one admission ticket! And did you know that MA residents can receive up to $10 off their full priced gate admission ticket online or at the door!

Keeping the history alive, Edaville still has the scenic railroad train ride where you can soak in the stunning views of cranberry bogs and marshlands that Edaville resides on. As you circle around the out bounds of the theme park on this 20-minute train ride, you will feel the history as you sit in the restored locomotive that graciously guides you on this journey.

Edaville has three amazing and different worlds spread throughout this stunningly laid out theme park. The first world is Cran-Central, there you will find the original history of Edaville with over 20 refurbished antique rides like the Ferris Wheel, Flying Elephants, Bumper Cars and Carousel. Cran-Central is also home of the amazing Ellis Playhouse red brick building that holds the cranberry museum, arcade, and more rides!

Edaville’s Thomas Land brings the famous Island of Sodor to life with iconic destinations like Knapford Station and Tidmouth Sheds! This Thomas Land is the only one in the United States, and has eleven themed rides that feature favorite characters like Cranky the Crane, Harold the Helicopter, Winston and so much more! This part of the park also hosts an amazing live show every hour in front of Tidmouths shed with Sir Topham hat himself! Kids can interact and engage with Topham hat, Percy, Gordon, and James during this fun show!

And lastly, Dino Land takes you through a path of the prehistoric world with 20 life size animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar as you walk through the misting trails!

Although summer is coming to an end, Edaville is still going strong! Fall is a great time to head on over to the park with the amazing promotions and events that they hold. September alone has three major character events at the park! You can groove with Pete the Cat, have tea with Madeline, or have fun with the Hungry Caterpillar! There is also a fantastic Military appreciation promotion where active military personnel and veterans receive free admission to the park on Labor Day weekend (including Labor Day!) and their immediate family members receive 50% off! For more information go to the Edaville Family Theme Park Calendar.

In October, Edaville is hosting their first annual “Not- So-Spooky” Halloween on weekends for the whole month! Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes and head on over to the park for a full day of kid friendly, parent approved, trick or treating at every ride! This takes trick or treating to a whole new level of fun and excitement! So be sure to head on over to Edaville Family Theme Park this fall to keep the fun alive!

To find out more about these events, book tickets, and enjoy the fun head over to the Edaville Family Theme Park website. You’ll find a calendar with daily events, promotions, and upgrades to make your trip the most fun possible!
