PHOTOS: Wildlands Music and Art Stroll

Imagine walking along a trail, a vast landscape of natural plantings, rounding a bend and hearing beautiful live music or seeing an artist painting plein air (on location.) That reality was enjoyed by many as The Harwich Conservation Trust held its 4th annual Wildlands Music & Art Stroll on the 66 acre Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Reserve.

This wildlands site was formally a cranberry bog last harvested in 2001. The Preserve is now a botanists delight boasting more than 280 plant species and 45 Bluebird nestboxes.

Piano riffs, guitars, flute, folk and Celtic tunes wafted gently in the air at various locations along the trails…as artists and easels were nearby capturing their impressions of the Wildlands.
