CHATHAM – It was a busy day Wednesday for researchers with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, as they tagged three sharks off Cape Cod.
The first was a 12 foot white shark tagged a 1/4 mile off Monomoy Island, while the second was a 15-footer tagged 1/4 mile off Nauset Beach in Orleans.
Later in the day, a third shark was tagged 100 yards off North Beach Island in Chatham.
The Conservancy is in the fourth year or a five-year white shark population study.
