4th Annual Cape Cod Food Truck Festival Rolls Back into Falmouth on Saturday

Food TruckFALMOUTH – Over 20 of New England’s most popular food trucks will be at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth on Saturday for the fourth annual Cape Cod Food Truck Festival.

The food trucks will be serving popular dishes such as cupcakes, local seafood and gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is organized by Food Truck Festivals of America.

Ben Trusiak, co-owner of the Schuck Food Truck, said the festival is going to be sentimental for them.

“This is actually going to be our first festival with the Food Truck Festivals of America, so this is kind of a big deal for us, so we’re really going to try to bring it,” said Trusiak.

Tickets to the festival are $5 for general admission and $20 for VIP.

This year’s Food Truck Festival will also feature the 2016 Wicked Etsy Market, which is a group of New England-based artisans who run their own individual shops on Etsy.com.

Some of the participating food trucks include: Seaside Johnny’s, Local Scoop, Jamaican Mi Hungry and Cape Cod Cannolis.

Trusiak said he’s happy to be in the food truck business and have the ability to go to events like the Cape Cod Food Truck Festival.

“Owning a food truck is kind of a good entry-level, for getting to that next step, so we just decided it was time to try something new and something different,” said Trusiak.
