8th Annual Stuff a Stocking Underway

 

HYANNIS – The 8th Annual Stuff A Stocking event at The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod is now taking place. The toys and supplies collected go to the Boys and Girls Club and the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation.

Suggested donations include toys and games geared for kids from 9-13, art supplies, gift cards, outdoor games and batteries, particularly AA, AAA, C batteries. Oversized stockings have been placed at all of the Bank’s branches as well as its Operations Center. New, unwrapped items can be dropped off until December 11th.

“The Boys and Girls Club and The Cape Cod Military Support Foundation are two outstanding organizations that provide direct assistance to local kids and families who need it most,” said Lisa Oliver, President of The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. “In the eight years the bank has been hosting this holiday program, we’ve seen an outpouring of support from our customers, business partners and well-meaning community members.  It’s a tremendous feeling to watch the giant stockings overflow with gifts and even more tremendous to deliver them to the groups, knowing that they’re going to brighten the holidays for local families.”

The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has branches in nine locations: 1591 Main Street, East Dennis;  1470 Orleans Road, East Harwich;  695 Attucks Lane, Hyannis;  275 Cotuit Road, Sandwich;  1121 Main Street, West Barnstable;  121 Main Street, Yarmouth Port; 660 North Falmouth Highway, Falmouth; 238 Worcester Court, Falmouth;  3878 Falmouth Road, Marstons Mills.  Additionally, items can be dropped at the bank’s Operations Center at 25 Benjamin Franklin Way in Hyannis.
