MATTAPOISETT – The Buzzards Bay Coalition is inviting you to its annual golf tournament in October at the Bay Club in Mattapoisett.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to help support the ongoing cleanup of nitrogen pollution in New Bedford Harbor.
Foursomes will play a scramble format tournament with awards and prizes. The Coalition is also holding a putting contest with a $5,000 reward.
Registration is $1,000 per foursome, or $250 per individual, and includes 18 holes of golf, cart rental, greens fees, boxed lunch, beer and snacks on the course, a tournament parting gift, all capped off with an after-party reception at the Golf House Restaurant.
The tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 19 at the Bay Club. Practice time for participants is from 10:00 a.m. until a shotgun start at noon. Tee sponsorships are also available for $350.
