Board of Early Education and Care Meet Today at Heritage

SANDWICH – The Board of Early Education and Care will meet in Sandwich this afternoon featuring a panel discussion with Cape Cod providers.

The meeting will include Ann Reale, the Commonwealth’s Undersecretary of Education and a number of other state education officials, and include discussion of a potential rate increase from providers.

The panel discussion, titled “Supporting Programs and Families in the Southeast and Cape,” will feature representatives from Cape Cod Child Development, Cape Cod Children’s Place, the YMCA of Cape Cod, and area education and early child care specialists.

This afternoon’s meeting will take place from 1 until 4 PM at the Heritage Museums and Gardens’ Heald Center Conference Room.
