Cape Cod Boy Scout Council Honors Stage Stop Candy Founders

DENNIS – The Cape Cod and Islands Boy Scout Council will honor Ray and Donna Hebert at a community breakfast on November 10th at the Yarmouth House Restaurant. 

The Heberts are the founders of Stage Stop Candy which opened for business in Dennis 1982.  It has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers, and  was even a topic of discussion on The View. 

Their legacy of service to the cape and Islands is long and impressive. 

Some organizations that they have been involved with are The Dennis Housing Authority, the Raymond Moore Foundation, Cape Playhouse, Cape center for the arts, and the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History. 

Both Ray and Donna were active in scouting in their youth.  Ray is an Eagle Scout and Donna received the Gold Award.
