C.C. Construction, Barrows Excavating Take 1st Place at Seaside Le Mans

MASHPEE – Hurricane Dorian passed the region in time for the 19th annual Seaside Le Mans race to be run Saturday afternoon at Mahspee Commons and the team of C.C. Construction and Barrows Excavating finished in first place.

Advantage Truck Group and Robert B. Our Company came in second place and Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service and E.F. Winslow Plumbing & Heating finished third.

The Race of the Cape Cod Community raised $600,000 this year for charitable organizations.

Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank was the Bank Cup Winner and the Fastest Lap Award went to Tracy Volkswagen/A&E Forms/Axial Benefits Group.

The Drivers Cup Fundraising Challenge award went to Norm Hodge.

This year’s beneficiaries included Cape Cod Healthcare, Cape Wellness Collaborative, Children’s Cove, Heroes in Transition and the Mass Audubon Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. Each organization has a specific focus for the funds received and is challenged to match the donation.
