Cape Air Cessna Makes Emergency Landing

fire department patchBARNSTABLE –  Barnstable Fire responded yesterday when a Cape Air twin engine Cessna on a training exercise made an emergency landing.

The incident occurred at the Barnstable Muncipal Airport after an engine would not restart.

During the training, pilots intentionally shut down the right engine and could not get it restarted.

The plane landed without incident around  2 o’clock.

There were no injuries to the two people on board the incident is under investigation.
