Cape Cod National Seashore to Host Mosquito Story Slam

EASTHAM–The Mosquito Story Slam will take place at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham next Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. in a free event hosted by the Cape Cod National Seashore.

Vanessa Vartabedian hosts the Mosquito Story Slam, which promotes audience engagement in storytelling without reading from a book or notes.

Storytellers, who should arrive to sign up for the event at 5:30 p.m., are randomly selected to tell a true story regarding Mother Nature. 

All stories are recorded as a podcast and posted online via Soundcloud, along with past episodes of The Mosquito Story Slam.

Bench seating is first come, first serve, to go with lawn seating. Picnicking is allowed, but attendees are asked to bring bug spray and flashlights.
