Cape Symphony to Hold Auditions For “Wizard of Oz”

COTUIT – Do you have what it takes to be a Munchkin, a Winkie, or an Ozian? Do you find your child humming the famous tunes from the Wizard of Oz?

If so, you’re in luck as the Cape Symphony and Cotuit Center for the Arts will be hosting auditions for their production of “The Wizard of Oz in Concert.”

Try outs will be held July 21st at 9:00 a.m., July 22nd at 12:00 noon, and July 23rd at 4:00 p.m.

Auditions will be held at the Cotuit Center for the Arts and applicants should be ages 6 and up to fill desired roles.

All who audition will be asked to sing a number chosen by the musical director and be able to perform a piece of choreography.

The production will culminate in three performances at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center on Saturday, February 9th at 3:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, February 10th at 3:00 p.m.
