HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority has received a recognition award from the state for their installation of solar arrays at the Hyannis Transportation Center and Dennis Operations Center.
The arrays will develop the equivalent of 94% of on-site electricity consumption.
The CCRTA was also acknowledged for the installation of electric vehicle charging ports, shifting its fleet of vehicles to smaller sizes as a way to combat emissions, and more.
The administration awarded the CCRTA with the recognition during the announcement of the 13th annual Leading by Example Awards this week.
