Center for Coastal Studies to Present Scientific Reflections of 2018

PROVINCETOWN – Scientists at the Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) are reflecting memorable experiences form the past year as 2018 comes to a close.

Join the CCS staff on Wednesday, December 19 for an illustrated exploration of the Center’s top 12 wildlife, natural history, and science highlights of 2018.

Marine Researcher Bryan Legare, Marine Fisheries Scientist Owen Nichols, and Biologist Lisa Sette have each identified four things that stood out for them and will share their fascinating discoveries made at local beaches and waterways, as well as provide details on biology and lessons learned this year.

This presentation is part of the Center for Coastal Studies Lecture Series, now in its 6th year, which is supported by Helen and Napi Van Dereck and Napi’s Restaurant.

‘Whoa, that was cool!’ will be held at Napi’s Restaurant, located at 7 Freeman Street in Provincetown, at 7:00 p.m. Participants are encouraged to arrive at 5:00 p.m.

The talk is free and open to the public.
