OAK BLUFFS – Martha’s Vineyard Community Services (MVCS) and the MV License Plate Committee are inviting island plate holders to attend a group caravan around the Vineyard on October 16.

The “Tour de MV License Plate” will be held at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School parking lot at 1:30 p.m.

The event is being held to thank those who have purchased plates to support MVCS and island non-profits that benefit youth and elders.

The caravan will leave at 2 p.m. from the high school and end at MVCS for a barbecue and live entertainment.

Those participating in the caravan must have a MV license plate on their vehicle.

Those interested are asked to register for the event by October 11 at mvlicenseplate.com.
