Former White House Science Advisor To Speak At MBL

WOODS HOLE – A former advisor to President Obama will speak at the Marine Biological Laboratory Falmouth forum tonight.

John Holdren was the Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology and is the longest serving science adviser in the history of the position.  

He will focus particularly on the effect of climate change on Cape Cod.

Holdren is the Teresa and John Heinz Professor of Environmental Policy at the Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

From 2009 to 2017, Holdren was President Barack Obama’s Science Advisor and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

The talk begins at 7:30 p.m. in the MBL’s Lillie Auditorium. Parking is free in any MBL lot.
