Forum in Dennis To Look at Medical Marijuana Usage

DENNIS –  Medical marijuana will be the focus of a televised forum in Dennis Saturday.

The League of Women Voters of the Cape Cod Area is hosting a three hour forum, “Medical Marijuana – Truth and Fictions,” at the Cape Cod Community Media Center.

The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kevin Hill, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard McLean Hospital. Hill is also the author of “Marijuana, The Unbiased Truth About the World’s Most Popular Weed.

Others taking part in the panel discussion include Gosnold on Cape Cod President Ray Tamasi and Plymouth-Barnstable State Senator Vinny deMacedo, who recently visited Colorado to witness that state’s experience with medical and recreational marijuana.

Massachusetts voters will decide on legalizing recreational marijuana at the ballot box this November.

The forum will be broadcast live on and late shown on channels 98 and 99.
