Harwich Port Earns Spot on List of Top Main Streets in America

HARWICH PORT – One Cape Cod village has been recognized for having one of the best Main Streets in America, according to Country Living magazine.

Main Street Harwich Port came in at number 21 on the publication’s list of the 23 top small town Main Streets in the United States. It was the only town on Cape Cod on the list and one of three in New England, along with North Conway, New Hampshire and Rockland, Maine.

Harwich Port was chosen for its “live music, lively vendors, stellar food, and that unmistakable strain of summertime magic on the Cape,” according to County Living.

The Catskills town of Callicoon, New York earned the top spot on the list.

Charlottesville, Virginia, Long Branch, New Jersey, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina rounded out the top 5.

North Conway was ranked 15 and Rockport came in at 20.
